The A37 also starts in Totterdown giving people a direct route to the south coast of England.
Totterdown has many amenities including a Tesco store, numerous pubs, restaurants, cafes and even a gym. It has a very vibrant feel with many of its pub venues offering live music events. Totterdown's ‘The Star and Dove' pub has been placed in the runners up for the best pub category of the food magazine reader awards in 2014. It also boast one of the famous ‘lounges’ named ‘Banco Lounge’ and the award winning Indian restaurant ‘The Thali Café’.
There is a lot to do in Totterdown for children and adults alike, with its local groups: scouts, girl guiding, boxing classes, yoga classes, choirs and various different parent and toddler groups.
